This age.

We live in an age where respect, even for those worthy, is not freely understood and so not freely given.
We live in an age where people become celebrities without any noticeable talent, skill or training. We live in an age where lack of integrity is accepted freely in politics, religion and social behavior.
We live in an age where crudity and low behavior is honored and encouraged.
We live in an age where personal discretion is not admired and loud public conversations by smartphone is the norm.
We live in an age where beginners to Dhamma bring their own ideas and opinions as to how the training should be given, and feel offended when they are dismissed.
We live in an age where true Dhamma practice becomes less and less.
We live in an age where so many things of value are lost.
We live in an age, like all ages in Dhamma, where only our own virtue and integrity will protect us.
This is the way of things.

May all beings be happy.
