Beyond 'self'

Dhammic understanding cannot be given from one to another. The truth is offered freely and without conditions but in our ignorance we will argue for or against it, deciding what is comfortable to hear and what is not.

Truth is not an opinion, but 'self' always seeks to explain and justify its existence, and so accepts what is convenient and modifies and manipulates the rest. It will justify any delusion and action and so continue its endless cycle. The world is filled with un-awakened beings, basing every moment in the trap of self identity, that is why it is how it is. Division, inequality, violence, segregation, war, hatred, exploitation comes from 'self'. Where there is no 'self'  there is only love. Who will argue against this?

Will you give up 'self' for your own liberation?

There is no other way.
