Understanding the practice.

When it comes to Dhamma teaching, practice and sharing, I am known as a 'hard liner', principally because I believe that Dhamma practice must not be compromised. It is true I speak always about love and share the joy in my heart through stories and jokes, but my relationship to your actual work of being a disciple is simple.

This way of living and being is so beautiful and ultimately so pure that we must commit completely, not to a religious idea, or a guru idea, but to Dhamma itself.
If we truly want to be free from the causes of our fear, unhappiness and discontent we must make our effort. There is no other way, and this is exactly what the Master wants to see from their disciples and students. Intention and effort.
Continually making everything easier and more convenient for yourself is not the best way to meet the deep habits of the mind and so transcend them.
The equations in Dhamma are always very simple, if you make the practice you will receive the results of making the practice. If you don't do the practice you will receive the results of not making the practice. Simple and clear.
When I trained with my teacher he gave me everything, but one of the most important gifts he gave was his insistence on self reliance. Do, or don't do.
This simple teaching I share with you now. You are responsible for you and every aspect of your conduct and speech. Take care with what you empower for you cannot avoid its consequences, and remember, I have heard every excuse there is.
Work hard for your own liberation, and if you want to contribute something worthy to the world and all of your relations, let go and let go and let go of the things that cover your loving fearless heart.

May all beings be happy.
