Walk on.
Listen to the silence.
When we ourselves become quiet we can hear the silence.
It is an embrace of infinite possibility. It is the sound of love.
We stand on the edge of an abyss, fearless and without desire, looking into this beautiful emptiness. Here all the answers wait for you.
Didn't you know that there is nothing to get?
Didn't you know that all your efforts ultimately are in
vain, and the very thing you search for so desperately in your life
is the thing that you already carry with you in every moment?
Love
cannot be created nor can it be transformed from something else.
Everything is only what it is and is complete in that. Love is love,
anger is anger, fear is fear.
Our Dhamma path therefore is not to
create a new 'you', spiritual, knowing and smiling, but simply to
allow the old 'you', that collection of fears, anxieties and self
justification to fall away and give the space for your fearless
loving heart to manifest.
This is the true joy of Dhamma.
There
is nothing to get, but everything to do. This is the paradox of
authentic Dhamma practice. To be with things as they are, to respond
with a loving heart, and never pick up something more to carry. To
smile at the day, and walk on.
This is the freedom I speak
about.
May all beings be happy.
