Enlightenment.

Enlightenment is not some special quality available to only a select few beings living in India or Tibet. It is knowing, completely, without doubt or reservation, the Truth. The Absolute Reality. That’s all!
And enlightenment, the absolute knowing of Truth, is available to all, you just have to want it enough. You just have to want it more than you want anything else.
But until that moment arrives, we live in the same world as everyone else, and in that world everyone is equally important. Ideas, views and opinions are just that, ideas, views and opinions. Before enlightenment they are based in misunderstanding, of believing the unreal to be real. And so even though people may be important, and have degrees and scholarships, or hold high positions in various institutions and religions, without enlightenment, they are only as intelligent or as stupid as everyone else. Not better, not worse, just different, and equally lost! The problems with groups, committees and even governments is that they are led and directed by unenlightened beings. People may be well educated and intelligent, but as long as they are not enlightened their views and policies will not be better that anyone else’s – only different!
Intelligence is not wisdom, and it is only wisdom, the beautiful manifestation of love and compassion, that will save the world from its suffering.

May all beings be happy.
