The Dhamma Heart.

From an open and loving heart, I cannot help but find myself completely and irrefutably against any kind of brutality.
From the obvious violence of war, rape, and torture, to the more subtle forms of manipulation through fear and threats.
There is enough of everything in the world for everyone, if only we would share.
There is enough of everything to share, if only we were not motivated by greed.
The base for greed falls away once we have let go of our fear.
When the planet if filled with the most delicious fruits, vegetables and grains, what need is there to exploit and take the life of fellow beings simply to eat their flesh?
It is intelligence and foolishness that can justify the cruelty and the lowest aspects of humanity. It is wisdom that sees beyond the mind and it's endless desires.
The potential for happiness is enormous - as is the potential for suffering and so it is said that 'the choices we make determine the life we meet.'
This is worthy of the greatest reflection.

May all beings be happy.
