Grasping a cloud.

Until the fear within us is exhausted 'self' is always seeking to protect and present itself into every moment of life.
In the material world it manifests by endlessly becoming yet another thing to support itself, a mother, a father, a house owner, a success, a rich person, the list is endless.
In the spiritual world it is the same process, more and more holding on under the delusion of letting go. Becoming a meditator, or worse, a meditation teacher, a spiritual celebrity, a Buddhist, a Muslim, a Hindu, and any other identity it can grasp at. 'Who was I in a past life? Who will I be in my next life?'
In the end we chase something illusionary and try to make it real, but it's not, it's like trying to hold onto a cloud or smoke from incense, and so will always disappoint us.
In the end everything is fine and there is nothing to resolve and nothing left to become. Relax, exhale and let go of the fear that directs you to always look for the next thing, the next identity and step into in your life. When it is pleasant, enjoy it. When it is difficult, be patient. In the end everything resolves itself and you can be at peace. This is the whole of Dhamma.

May all beings be happy.
