A simple life.

To be in peace with life we have to let go of the things that are disturbing for us, the things that take our time and energy but are in the end completely empty. The things we spend time thinking and worrying about. Superficial things such as the clothes we wear, the places we go, the friends we should see.
And so the Dhamma path encourages a simple life.
Look at how you live and how complicated you have made your life. So many decisions to make every day and and every moment of every day. What to eat, where to eat, who to call, who to see, what to watch on TV and what to eat whilst watching TV. It never ends and so we feel exhausted.
Even choosing what clothes to wear becomes an ordeal, "does this go with that, and what about those? Help, I need help!"
Happily, Dhamma exists only to help you.
Simplify your life and make space for peace.
Make space in your decision making by making space in your material, emotional and spiritual world.
Unclutter the mind and release yourself from the painful world of attachment to people and possessions.

Only a foolish person lets go of the simple life of the disciple
to return to the complicated life of the world.
(Dhammapada vs. 344)
