Careless in our practice?
To be careless in our Dhamma practice means to be
someone who does not value their behaviour or comportment, whether
alone or in public.
Someone who thinks simply calling themselves a
disciple is enough without demonstrating their integrity in every
moment.
The true disciple behaves in the same way whether they are
with the Master or by themselves.
They take care because they
realise that everything they do is a reflection of the Dhamma.
When
we truly understand the nature of Dhamma and our training we will
naturally guard our integrity and take care with every aspect of our
life, not looking for shortcuts or quick fixes, but committing to
this beautiful and pure path.
When we live with the deep intention
to awaken, we will always take care not to be careless.
May all
beings be happy
