Magic Dhamma
I often say that if I could take away your pain
and difficulties in life just by touching your forehead or holding
your hand, I would do it without a moment's hesitation. But of course
I can't do that. I can only share with you my joy, my love and my
enthusiasm for Dhamma. To remind you that there is nothing wrong
here, it's only suffering. Not pleasant, but not wrong either.
We
have to meet our old story. To see it, to know it and to ultimately
release our emotional attachment to it as being who and what we
are.
Only we can do this work. We can be supported by the teacher
of course, but in the end we are alone with this mind. We are always
alone.
And even if I could remove your unhappiness simply by a
touch or a magic chant, how would it really help you? What you you
learn from that?
When our understanding is clear we will see
that whatever we experience, pleasant or unpleasant, becomes the doorway to our own awakening.
This is Dhamma. Far beyond any narrow
technique of meditation or cult attraction, but the liberating work
that only we can do.
Be with the mind and be peaceful. Allow it to
be the gift it really is and just.....let.....go.....
May all
beings be happy.
