Frustration.

Frustration is a natural movement of mind and has its base in fear.
We feel that something is not going according to our own particular plan and recognizing that we don't actually control anything at all, we feel vulnerable, hence the feeling that we call frustration.
The remedy of course is to 'let go' and allow everything to follow its natural path. This is difficult simply because we have been told so often by our parents and society that we need to take control, but reflect, if we cannot control this mind that we call ours, how can we control anything else.
The behaviour of other beings and even the universe itself, is often frustrating, but why?
Why are we always so concerned with situations and then the actions of fellow beings in our life?
The answer is fear, it is always fear.
Because of fear we attempt to control everyone and everything so that life will always be comfortable for us, but the Dhamma way is to recognize our own human limitations and respond to conditions and situations as they arise, rather than reacting crying, 'it's not fair, it's not what I wanted!'
So relax a little bit.
Beings are the way they are, that is their choice.
You are the way you are, and that is your choice, and the universe is unfolding in its own particular way, moment after moment.
A peaceful and more productive life is not something outside that you can get by controlling the universe and everything in it, it begins and ends with your personal relationship to what is actually happening.

May all beings be happy.
