Simple Life.
I offer no ceremony, no certificate, no
initiation, no ladder to climb in front of others.
I give no
reward, no badge of office for your effort in meditation.
I share
only my love and enthusiasm for pure Dhamma, the teaching of Gotama
before religion was born.
I encourage honesty and integrity in
practice - such a difficult path to walk when the spiritual
business world offers so much.
In the temples and monasteries I
see people with their hands together in Anjali all the while pushing
for their place in front of others.
I hear people speaking of love
and compassion all the while happily eating the flesh of fellow
beings.
I hear people speaking of mystical experiences all
the while pursuing the lowest aspects of human behaviour.
For me,
I have nothing to offer but the silence of meditation and the
elegance of pure Dhamma practice bringing us to the joy of the
heart.
Not seeking to be someone, but aspiring to be no one is the
way of pure Dhamma, and those who arrive with humility and right
intention will always find a place next to me.
May all beings be
happy.
