Responsibility.

The deepest question in the world of Dhamma and also the most frustrating.
Simply and honestly we can say each of us occupy our own worlds, and so the world of the disciple is different from the world of the Master.
How can the Master show the beauty of their life when the eyes of the disciple is so often coloured by their own fears and apprehensions.
When the Buddha awakened he realised how difficult it would be to share this Dhamma with others and so he decided not to teach. However, a great compassion arose within him and he thought, 'no matter how difficult it is it is, my responsibility now is to share this Dhamma with whom ever will listen.'
For myself, I have to walk in these footsteps, to honour the Buddha, my teacher and the Dhamma itself.
That I occasionally meet disagreement is a fact of my life, but as the truth is always impartial and I feel that I have nothing to convince others of, I truly don't mind.
In all the years I have shared this beautiful Dhamma it has never been my contention that you must believe me and do as I say. You are responsible for the quality of your world and blindly following the rules of others cannot lead to liberation.
The teaching itself is simple; live with love and be aware.
Follow this simple yet difficult path and you will have no need to pick up more things to carry. You yourself will be happy and so share that joyful happiness with all beings.

May all beings be happy.
